Dearly Departed is about a family who lives “somewhere below the Mason-Dixon line” and the comedy revolves around how the rather dysfunctional family deals with the patriarch’s death. You may even recognize some of the family members –they seem to exist in most families! The knee-slapping comedy is contagious.
